2022 movie #153. 2022. A bit too much Baz Luhrmann in the beginning but it settled down into an enjoyable picture. Butler was good as Elvis. A fair amount of music. Hits most of the high spots of his life as I know it.

Teenagers from feuding families get secretly married. Boring. I'm not a big fan of the play, but it is not a boring play. There's just so much relentless gimmick here, it doesn't leave any room for story.
