Lazily written and haphazardly illustrated, this book's chief merit is the novelty of its subject.

Whoever composed the glossary seemed to be unaware of the distinction between a noun and an adjective.

I had no idea why the Vanguard 1 photograph showed an out of focus background of trees and at first I thought it might be a still from an early Dr. Who episode. The colorful illustrations and photographs will take you to Peru as you read about the land, the people and the food of this ancient country in South America.
This title is part the “Countries We Come From “series. These books are great for early research projects. They contain reference helps, table of contents, index, etc. that make it easy to locate information. This book comes in both English and Spanish. The simple text makes it a good choice for teaching Spanish or for ESL students learning English.… (more)

This book is talking about a ringtail. This animal is not a cat, it is more closely related to racoons. This animal is a omnivore, it eats bugs smaller animals and all sorts of plants. They are pretty tiny but they love food. They don't live in packs. They got their name due to their tail which has white rings on it. Their average life span is 7-9 years.

I found this book cool. It was fascinated by the fact whiskers can surround eyes and feet also. They are unique animals. I picked this book up because it said "miners cat". It was still worth reading. I was devastated when it mentioned that people hunt them for their fur. Overall this animal was very interesting.… (more)
