Really useful classification of managerial activities (especially the concepts of framing and preoccupations/occupations). Sounds real, mainly because based on real interviews all around the world.

For those in organisational strategy and for those in ‘CSR’ this is a must read. Often sustainability academia, business leaders and consultants have tried to address strategy. This book is authored by strategists who write about sustainability (incl. CSR). It captures the ‘why’, ‘what and ‘how’ it is smart to consider incorporating sustainability and other exponential factors to upgrade strategy development to the benefit of more than only a few stakeholders. “Ask not what sustainability can do for your business. I read this as pre-reading before studying Strategy with the Open University. It was very clear and easy to read, explained things ownderfully, made me laugh in places, and was genuinely useful in getting my head round what strategy actually is.
