- Jessica S. Olson claims New Hampshire as her home, but has somehow found herself in Texas, where she spends most of her time singing praises to the inventor of the air conditioner. When she's not hiding from the heat, she's corralling her four wild—but adorable—children, dreaming up stories about kissing and murder and magic, and eating peanut butter by the spoonful straight from the jar. She earned a bachelor’s in English with minors in editing and French, which essentially means she spent all of her university time reading and eating French pastries. She is the author of Sing Me Forgotten (out now) and A Forgery of Roses (March 2022).

Trial of the Sun Queen by Nisha J. Tuli
didn't finish. Needs an editor, character consistency, and some more polish.

4.25 stars. An Excellent second installment in a series (which is where a lot of series tend to struggle). Lots of action and spice! It was a bit easier to get into this book since most of the world-building happened in the first. Looking forward to the next!
The narrator was good, and did a good job with different voices and emotions. I'm not sure if I would have preferred to read the book instead but I think that has more to do with the type of book than the narrator.… (more)

I really loved this read. I thought not only the characters were awsome but also the elments of a fantsay story but mixed with a murder mystery was so captvating to me. I also thought this book had a important rep like anxiery rep but also the possilbity of chronic illness. This book also had a real cool hero that just capatived me. It also had so many twists and turns and read herrings that just kept me gussing. This book I had such a hard time putting it down and really loved this this book was standlone but would love to see mroe stories set in this world!! I also want to read this author backlist!… (more)
