I received a MOBI.file copy of this book from its publisher through a giveaway they had on LibraryThing, and the following is my honest opinion.

Those of you who have my reviews know I’ve got a preference in writing them for nonfiction Christian books, followed by True Crime books and Children’s books. Given we’re all homebound due to the COVID-19 virus and have no real place to go to, we find ourselves looking at various things to do to occupy our time. Being a child of the 1950s, I’ve been watching a lot of the cowboy and western television shows of my childhoods.

Back in the 1960s, there was hardly an evening that one of the three major television networks, ABC or CBS or NBC, didn’t have at least one cowboy or western show. Being an adult these days, I’m looking at these programs with a different eye and can understand why they’d been so popular. Seeing this book in the giveaway, I decided to enter, and luckily I won a copy.

The fourteen eclectic stories written by the book’s ten authors didn’t disappoint this reviewer at the least. All of the stories have been well-written and, at times, had been quite visual. These stories captured the essence of those programs I’d watched as well as child and am watching today.

For having given me a well-worth change of pace of the books I’ve been reading/reviewing this year, I’ve given this book and all of its authors 5 STARS.… (more)
