A useful and instructive book that does manage to pass on some information on how to write for the movies. Though I prefer the book by James Goldman on the same theme, this is a good readable back-up.

In the early '60s, the author was hired to write a TV series featuring Jackie Cooper as a county agent in the southwestern U.S. You don't remember this series? There's a good reason, as the showbiz shenanigans unfold.

This is one of my favorite books of all-time. It's too bad that it is out of print.
