Although this is fiction, the author is well versed in the history of Ancient Egypt. What she has done is bring it to life, a bit like getting into a time machine and being allowed to watch closely as Her Bak learns about life from his elders.

This book was written by the wife of RA Schwaller de Lubicz, whose masterful work on the sacred geometry of the Egyptian temples also sits in my library. Written in the form of a novel the story follows the paces of a boy to become an initiate Egyptian sacred knowledge. The book is good for history and archeology students - since there are true facts and references, but to the people simply fascinated by the Ancient Egypt civilisation.
