This was part of a three-book set I received as a gift when I moved into my first apartment and began cooking for myself. They were perfect recipes at the time because they are affordable and easy. However, I've moved on to recipes that are a bit healthier and varied. Still, I would recommend these to new cooks!
As with the other Campbell's books in this set, they were perfect for me when I was first out on my own because the recipes were simple and economical. I've outgrown them since, however.
These cookbooks were perfect when I was straight out of college with little money and experience in the kitchen. Now... well, personally, my tastes have matured a bit and I also found a lot of these recipes to be high in sodium, fat, etc.
