This book is unique in the world of pop-up books, created as a catalog from the exhibition, "Brooklyn Pops Up", 8 Brooklyn landmarks are imagined by the world's best paper engineers.
Individual talents really shine here and you will recognize many signature styles within the pages. In order they are:

Maurice Sendak's whimsical illustrations adorn the cover which was paper engineered by Matthew Reinhart. Don't miss the peek at the hidden works of the cover just inside the front cover, very interesting!
Brooklyn Brownstones (David A. Carter & Tor Lokvig)
Grand Army Plaza & Brooklyn Public Library (Bruce Foster)
The Brooklyn Museum of Art and Children's Museum (Robert Sabuda)
Botanical Gardens (Ken Wilson-Max & Bruce Finch)
Prospect Park & The Carousel (Biruta Akerbergs Hansen)
The Brooklyn Bridge (Iain Smyth)
Flavors of Brooklyn- (Carla Dijs & Kees Moerbeek)
Coney Island (Chuck Murphy)

The book itself was conceived by Ellen G.K. Rubin and designed by Robert Sabuda.

My personal favorite is the spread of the brownstones, such an iconic image of New York for me.
