A brief survey of Romans in the territories now called Germany, from the first campaign to the establishment of Theodoric's kingdom in Italy (roughly). Not very detailed of course, given the restriction of 120 pages, but a good entry point as a succinct recap. The brief description of historians re-discovering and re-interpreting Roman history was the most interesting because it actually held new information (at least for me).
