Pretty clever idea, and kids will get a kick out of the naked page, especially.

I had mixed feelings about this book after reading it. I liked the book because the characters where very believable. The only two characters in the book were a small child and his mom. Meanwhile the mother Is becoming more and more impatient because she has to get going and her son Patrick is taking to long. Both characters act as they would in the real word. I did not like this book because of the illustrations. The way the illustrations were drawn seems very messy and fast. The picture were colored with a watercolor style so the color did not always stay in the lines of the drawing making everything kind of blend together on the page. Bears at the Beach by Niki Yektai will be able to help preschoolers count from ten to twenty. Yektai uses items found at the beach and students will be able to see what they are actually counting. I think that this book is excellent for counting and can be interactive.
