Zombie books with BRAINS!

yoyogod: This is probably the most popular zombie book ever, and it's really good.

yoyogod: It's the first Joe Ledger novel, and it's pretty popular.

yoyogod: I didn't like volumes 2 & 3 of this series that much, but I though Monster Island was good.

yoyogod: This is one of the works that is most responsible for the current zombie craze. I don't know that it's Keene's best work-- seeing as how it's his first novel, that's to be expected--but I do like this book.

yoyogod: Not the best novel, but zombies and Star Wars are such an odd combination that I had to add the book.

yoyogod: Zombies and superheroes go well together, and this is the first volume of a series that I love.

yoyogod: Keene is one of horror's grandmasters and is partially responsible for the zombie craze, so the first volume of his other zombie series belongs here. Also, I actually like it more than The Rising.

yoyogod: A zombie outbreak at a Star Trek convention is a cool concept, and I just love this book.

yoyogod: One of the scarier zombie novels.

yoyogod: This anthology could probably be considered a classic of the zombie fiction genre.

yoyogod: A very Christian take on the zombie novel that's actually pretty good.

yoyogod: This is my favorite zombie western.

yoyogod: A bizarro zombie novel about a game show where poor people are kidnapped and shipped to a zombie infested city where they are forced to fight for survival. Also has a cyborg version of Mr. T, so I pity the fool who doesn't read this book.

yoyogod: A novel in which the Rapture also causes a zombie uprising. It's surprisingly good.

yoyogod: The story of Dante's encounter with a zombie infestation that inspired The Inferno.

yoyogod: How could I pass on a novel about a zombie outbreak and a marauding band of convicts that's by a local author and is set in my area.
