PFC (Private First Class / E-3) performing duties as the United Clerk, Supply Specialist, Dispatcher of vehicles, responsible for tent city (encampment) & anything not covered with assigned duties. Deployed in 1985 to the Panama Canal with a small detachment of stevedore's, drivers & other specialties to complete mission. We were posted at Rodman Naval Station on the Pacific side of the Peninsula of Panama for three weeks. Commanding was a Second Lieutenant (0-1) Ortiz. We were the 567th Transportation Company (TS)(BB) [Terminal Service / Break Bulk], 24th Transportation Battalion, 7th Transportation Group, Fort Eustis, Virginia.
