About meAurélien Arkadiusz’ claims, I r e a d, therefore I am.

About my libraryHaere mai. Welcome to my small book collection.

Mostly, I read History, Mysteries, Science Fiction and a little Fantasy.

If you like books from or about the 19th Century, and/or the early 20th Century, you might enjoy browsing my library shelves and meeting up with old friends.

# Some of these books date back to my childhood days, all those long years ago, way back in the middle of last century.
# Two books even come from my parents' 1920s childhood collections.
# The rest have been added over the decades, many bought second-hand.
# All have (somehow) survived occasional fairly ruthless weeding bouts, triggered both by space constraints and by the removal of seldom-read works.

'Guidebook' is used in the widest possible sense.
'Mystery' includes Detective tales.
'Children's Book' includes some books written for teenagers.
'UK' & 'USA' have both been used before either of those political entities came into being.
'Americana' & 'Picture Book' have been overused.
