About My Library

I collect the kind of books you don’t want to lend out. Most of the shelf is mid-century science fiction — Asimov, Sheckley, a bit of Heinlein — with occasional detours into Philip K. Dick’s fractured realities and Ray Bradbury’s lyrical paranoia. From the darker side, there’s Lovecraft, of course, but also Ramsey Campbell and a touch of Thomas Ligotti when the world feels too stable. I enjoy detective stories with tight logic and mood — no need for morality, just good tension. I read King now and then, mostly admiring how he builds everyday fear into something unshakable.

Some books I own because of how they read. Others — because of how they linger. My favorite novel right now is probably Ubik by Philip K. Dick. It’s slippery, bleak, brilliant — a perfect match for foggy nights and that sense of not knowing what’s real, which I find oddly comforting.

About Me

Based in Rhode Island, I write copy for a living and fiction for sanity. My reading list leans into speculative fiction, detectives, myths, and mysteries. I’m currently outlining a novella inspired by forgotten towns and unreliable narrators. Freelance credits include projects like 1winregistration.
