- I joined Thing with the sole idea of using it to assist in organising my numismatic and horological libraries (still some way to go with these) but was soon sidetracked into attempting to catalogue the entire family book mountain,this is going to take some time!
The books listed comprise collections from childhood onward accumulated between the three of us, don't even try to guess which belongs to whom as we all have somewhat quirky tastes, it is likely that daughter's books and, knowing her, some of the rest will begin to vanish from the lists in the near future. - About Me
- I am a dealer in ancient and other coins and a clock and watch repairer, married to Carolyn and with a daughter (The_alchemist on LibraryThing), now fled the nest, more of her in "About my library". I am an avid reader and passionate about books. I HATE libraries both private and public; I'd better explain, if I have no choice but borrow a book I have to return it, and, even if I am unlikely to read or refer to it again, I find this extremely painful.
