About My Library

Few things delight me more than a stack of books, yet to be read, on my table... I read in English, Ukrainian and Russian. I read library books, and at the same time I enjoy compiling a library of my own - with the idea that when or if I reach a ripe old age and cannot go to the library I can spend my days reading my own books, especially the classics, but also contemporary favorites. I hope I never stop "inhaling the enchanted scent of promise that comes with all new books" (Carlos Ruiz Zafon).

The books recorded here are mostly the ones I have read since I joined LibraryThing, plus a few more that I remembered to list from before. I am continuing with the same process.
