I haven't read as much as I like over the past few years, as I have been caught up with writing, instead!
I have a large and diverse library, from Ian Rankin to David Gemmell, Glenda Larke to Bernard Cornwell, Raymond E Feist to Karen Miller, James Herriot to Terry Pratchett!

Back in 2002 I interviewed fantasy legend Raymond E Feist ... when I discovered we share a similar way of writing, I was inspired to try my hand at the genre. Seven years later my debut novel, The Wounded Guardian, has been published by HarperCollins Australia and the second book, The Risen Queen, is out at Christmas. The entire trilogy was written while commuting by train, which has given me some unusual insights into the writing process and how to get published!
