- About My Library
- My favorite books are fantasy fiction. I prefer epic with some romance. Humor is fine (ala Terry Pratchett).
Don't like urban or paranormal fantasy.
Don't like graphic sex.
I've read plenty of books, but I won't add anything I've read before joining LibraryThing. I'd rather focus on reviewing new books than trying to remember why I liked or didn't like old books.
Explanation of my review rankings:
1. Amazing - a top-tier book. I loved almost everything about it.
2. Great - a solid book and an enjoyable read.
3. Good - a solid book but something keeps it from being marked as great in my list. [usually for books with poor endings]
4. So-so - I didn't enjoy the book, but there were parts or ideas that I liked.
5. Not so good - To be honest, I didn't really like it. It was a struggle to get through and I'm not sure it was worth it.
6. No - I didn't like it and I can't recommend it to anyone.
