- About Me
For over twenty years, Mark's writing has been featured in various online mags, with over a dozen short short works featured in print and online e-zines. In 2021, he self-published his debut novel: an epic, occult, dark, urban fantasy called The Be(k)nighted: The Untold Origin of The Precept.
"The Be(k)nighted is a spellbinding narrative that will draw in readers from the first few sentences and leave them on the edge of their seats to the very last page...[the author's] care and perspective of those who suffer from a mental illness is particularly riveting and provides a much-needed vantage point that is too often reduced to a stereotype, marginalized, or ignored altogether." (5/5 STARS)
- Seattle Book Review
"The Be(k)nighted is a tightly-woven web of intrigue and adventure, melding genres through deft storytelling."
-Tim Marquitz, author of the Demon Squad Series~~~
More recently, his historical fantasy novelette, Fair-Weather Friend, was serialized in issues 7-9 of Infinity Wanderers from 2023 through 2024. Also, Mark's poetry has been featured in BlazeVOX (Spring 2022) and Poetry Pacific (2024).
Mark is looking forward to publishing his first collection of short works, including science fiction, horror, fantasy, and literary fiction pieces, in 2026.
