My library is a haphazard accumulation including books which actually belong to my wife, gifts, stuff I found in used book shops and at garage sales, things given to me at seminars, and stuff inherited through my family. I'd estimate 2500 volumes, but truthfully some of this stuff is in boxes I haven't opened in years, some of it is outdated junk (Writers Market, 1979??), and some of it just plain junk. I should throw away or sell about half of them.

I'm not sure what the stars are supposed to mean, but here's how I'm using them:
1. One of those things I should throw away.
2. Great Book!, really, here you can have it.
3. Fun read or useful info, check it out from the library, or borrow mine.
4. Nice. No, you can't have it, get your own. Do though, it's good stuff.
5. Wow! I should get this in acid free hard cover, don't miss it, apply the "buy books then food if you have money left over" principle.

I'm a Technology Management Consultant, part time farmer, and somewhat frustrated writer. I'm interested in a wide variety of things including scientific topics, history, Switzerland, economics, and old pinball machines, though I know almost nothing about anything that interests me and lots about stuff I don't care about.
