About My Library

I appear to have begun recording reading dates and writing reviews of books, as I read or re-read them. (All dates mentioned are for the latest read, which is not automatically the first time.)

My catalog here is still in a bit of a mess, but I'm trying to slowly fix it, one book at a time.

Most of my paper books are a couple of thousand miles away, so I can only really access the ebooks.

Books in the "To read" collection are in some state of not read - I may be part way through, half-abandoned them several years ago or not started at all!

About Me

I'm a (chemical) engineer currently living in Shanghai, previously in Frankfurt, but originally from Ireland. I'm interested in history, particularly medieval history, and have started trying to learn more about Chinese history.
