- I like an eclectic range of books, but I keep coming back to books, often in a series, with a 'big idea' behind them. The feeling that there are connections between the lines, between the books, thrills me. I guess that's why I call Stephen Baxter's Resplendent my favourite book. Olaf Stapledon and David Brin also take pride of place on my physical bookshelf.
