About meValjeanne Jeffers is the author of Immortal, Immortal II: The Time of Legend, Immortal III: Stealer of Souls The Switch II: Clockwork (includes books I and II), Immortal IV: Collision of Worlds; and the short works of fiction: Colony, Grandmere's Secret and The Visitor.

She is a graduate of Spelman College and North Carolina Central University and a member of the Carolina African American Writer’s Collective. ​

Her fiction has also been published in Steamfunk!,Pembroke Magazine Volume 39, Griots: A Sword and Soul Anthology, PurpleMag, Genesis: An Anthology of Black Science Fiction Volumes I and II Lunewing, Mocha Faeryland, and Griots II: Sisters of The Spear and OTHER SCI FI magazine.

Her poetry and fiction have been published in Revelry 2006, The Ringing Ear: Black Poets Lean South 2007, Say It Loud: Poems About James Brown, Drumvoice Revue, Liberated Muse: How I Freed My Soul Vol I; and she was also a 2007 semifinalist for the Rita Dove Poetry Award.
