Since the completion of my doctorate, most of my reading is concentrated on fiction and I steer clear of all things non-fiction or self-help (although I do enjoy historical fiction). In my younger days I enjoyed science fiction, however my tastes have moved toward mystery/drama/intrigue. I enjoy the works of both whimsical and intense writers.

I have been reading since some of my earliest recollections. My mother was a librarian and taught me early to have a love of reading. Over the years I have held positions as a teacher, a school/district administrator and I currently am teaching at at the college level. My youngest child graduated from high school last year and I find that I now have more time for reading.
