- About My Library
- I have a different philosophy about my library. I have a finite amount of shelf space (verrrrry small) and when a new book comes, an old one has to go. I aim to collect as few books (and as little stuff) as possible in my life. I read far beyond my library, mostly nonfiction and classics, (and YA lit of all types) but rarely feel the need to own a particular book, as I work (and live and breathe) in the library. My collection reflects what I will reread and what is functional/reference. The latter books are home renovation and repair, cookbooks, and language textbooks. Haven't decided yet whether to catalog them. Cookbooks are added now.
