Social activist and commentator in Malay/Muslim community of Singapore. Holds BA (Hons) in Philosophy, and MA candidate in Malay Studies Dept., National University of Singapore. Coordinator of The Reading Group (2001-2007). Research interest includes religious orientations in Malay society, critical pedagogy for social transformation, comparative theology and youth activism.
