- Classic literature is where I live. And great literature and Christian literature need not be mutually exclusive. Great writing takes great themes and there are none greater than salvation through Jesus Christ; the struggle between good and evil; and the pull of the material world over the Spiritual. The ironic thing is, these are the books you can get for pennies on the dollar. Most of the books I have cost me a dollar or less at thrift shops and libraries and such, and yet I read them over and over again.
