I enjoy reading books and writing reviews here on LibraryThing. I just started my freelance book review journey in 2023. I love to read historical fiction and a good mystery. I also review and collect a lot of children's books because of my job as an educator. You will also see classics, self-help, memoirs, and many more genres in my collection, as I have various interests. Basically, I just love to read! Hello, My name is Michelle Smith-Palmer. I am a freelance book reviewer. I have been an avid reader and amateur writer all of my life. My career experience is mostly in education, as I hold a master's degree in ed tech and a bachelor's in elementary ed as well as in speech & language disorders. I currently review children's books up to young adult novels. I enjoy reading new debut authors, self-published ebooks, and new authors for children. I currently work full-time as a speech-language technician. I love to add more reviews to my review writing portfolio, and I love adding new books to my collection. Send me a book!
