Nick,

Aside from the classics like Cervantes, Lope de Vega, Calderón (whose major works are all translated into English), you have writers such as Isabel Allende, Jorge Luis Borges, Cabrera Infante, García Márquez, Carlos Fuentes, Manuel Puig and Mario Vargas Llosa (FS will be publishing 'The War of the End of the World' this year). Current Spanish writers in two quite different styles are Javier Marías and Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

One source (or two) to check is amazon.com and amazon.es. The carry many books in Spanish (printed and in Kindle format).

I found the following link with some extra information:

http://www.lib.utexas.edu/benson/bibnot/bn-83.html

For general information on cultural and literature matters check:

http://www.cervantes.es/default.htm

This will start you on your way. Please let me know at any time if I can be of more help. It will be a pleasure to provide more details.

All the best,

Antonio
