- About My Library
- Range 2 refers to the second level of RANGE READING that I have developed to organize children's literature. Range 2 is the level of books that are usually considered concept books -- dealing with learning basic information such as the alphabet, numbers, colors, etc. It is the level above books for babies and toddler and before picture books. I have only listed those books that I think have merit to them (and not everything that I have read). Therefore, the five star system is a little different with a one star still representing a good title selection, but a five star rating is an outstanding book and one that I probably have bought for my own personal collection. This list was designed to help librarians, parents, and educators find quality literature to share with young readers.
- About Me
- I am a Library Consultant and have a deep love of children's literature. I created a system of organizing children's/juvenile/young adult literature into 10 ranges that reflect the different stages of reading during a person's lifetime. The system is refered to as RANGE READING.
