I need to get the bookshelves built so that all the volumes can be accessed, and to help prevent purchasing duplicate volumes.

Various genres read from sci/fi thru politics/history and nearly everything in between. I love to collect first and second editions, with my oldest book from the early 1800s (Water Babies).

I prefer hardbacks over paperbacks, and still have the mass-market paperbacks from high school literature. Thriftbooks, Abebooks, and Powells is where I source the majority of my books.

My library contains books in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Hungarian, and Czech.

Developed a love of reading from my father; with various subjects learned from my mother.

I currently work in tech (NOC); and besides a love of reading, I knit, crochet, spin, and sew; and depending on the book, I can knit/crochet while reading; though mostly use audiobooks when embroidering
