I'm a very eclectic reader. I read across all genres, all eras, all subjects. My current (read: life-long) project is reading all the classics. I'm defining classic very broadly, as a book by any author from the dawn of time to 'round about the 1950s, who happened to be famous enough for me to have heard of him. I'm reading more or less alphabetically by the authors' last names. So far I'm up through Dickens.

I love stories. I love to read them, write them, watch them, dream about them... I write historical fiction (A Man Called Outlaw) and have recently started dabbling in some speculative fiction as well. I also write a blog, "Wordplay," (http://www.wordplay-kmweiland.blogspot.com) that features my musings and tips on writing fiction.
