It was definitely not what I was expecting. I am so glad to read a good book that doesn't follow some cookie cutter plot. Excellent story.
The book is short but gives very clear instructions and is very good at walking students through cake decorating without making it too overwhelming as many cake decorating books tend to do.
I just finished reading this book and wow! I loved the first book so I started on this one as soon as I finished the first. This second book was even more intense than the first book in the series. The author has done a great job of developing characters and their relationship as the book progresses. The unexpected twists and turns make this book much more fun than the many urban fantasy books I have read lately, which while enjoyable, they do tend to get predictable.
I loved this book. What a great start to a series! Once I got into the book I couldn't put it down. The character development was very good and there was plenty of exciting action. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I love the Peanut! I can't wait to see him grow as a character in future books.
I loved this book. I really wish the author had a series involving the interesting characters in this book.
Great book! I loved reading each book in this series and hate to see it end. Very good finale.
The story was great but the narrator ruined it. I didn't realize until it was too late that the narrator was Joyce Bean. I have heard other books with her as the narrator and she butchered those as well. I need to go back and read this book without her voice in my head.
I gave this audio book a three star rating because I really liked the story but the narrator was so awful it was a struggle to finish listening to the book. The narrator sounded like someone's crazy drunk grandmother rather than the young(ish) kick ass heroine, Jill Kismet, portrayed by Lilith Saintcrow in the book. I will finish the rest of the series by reading the Nook book editions.
This is a two-star book with a great narrator so I gave it a three-star rating. I decided to buy the book because I love her other Other World series. The writing style was fine as was the book but it was so depressing that it was hard to finish the book. Because of how depressing this book was I decided not to continue into the rest of the series.
I love this series! Since I heard the first book I couldn't wait to listen to the rest. The story itself is good but I think the audio book is even better. Dina Pearlman, the narrator, really brings the heroine, Samantha Moon, to life.
The narrator was so horrible that I had to stop listening to the book before I was finished. The story itself might be good so I will try reading it in the Kindle version.
I loved the entire series and I know it has to end somewhere but I think given all of the unanswered questions that are left and some of the powerful characters that were kept in the background there could easily be another book or two in this series. I will miss reading about Dante Valentine and Japh.
Loved the action in this book and can't wait to read the next in the series.
This could have been a much better book but the main character spent half of the book whining about her personal issues.
So far, this is my favorite book of the series. The jinn and the oracle make great characters and I hope to see more of them in other books.
Another great Imp book! Can't wait to see more of Sam and Gregory together.
The book was awful. Very amateurish. I wouldn't recommend anything by this author.

Another great book in the series. I read these too fast and now I will have to wait forever for the next one.
