The book is short but gives very clear instructions and is very good at walking students through cake decorating without making it too overwhelming as many cake decorating books tend to do.
This book was printed and packaged in a padded plastic 3-ring binder with an introduction by the founder of Wilton Enterprises, Norman Wilton. This is a really dated book, but through reading the introduction the reader learns that the founder's dad, McKinley Wilton started teaching cake decorating classes in his home in 1929. "Can you imagine- he actually held classes in our dining room at home! Fortunately, Mom didn't mind." The introduction also has a color photo of the founder as well.
Personally, I can't wait to try the Holiday French Toast recipe contained within. I have never eaten baked French toast and thanks to this recipe, I am going to do so very soon. I hope its good! This book contains a lot of very yummy looking recipes (although I haven't personally ate the recipes themselves! LOL).
