Great collection of essays on our world'S PROGRESS. It starts out with how unimaginable our current world would be to our great grandparents. During the ending it turns into how our great world is being digressed because of govt power.
Funny little reading small bits covering a wide range of topics and bringing the unknown history of everyday things. Very little political opining.
Well written narrative that takes the individual videos and stories over the last three years and layers in terrifying historical context of Antifa and presents evidence that, in addition to Antifa being more than an "Idea" [sic], they are an organized, real, violent threat to the American way of life.
A not entirely witty collection of quotes about marriage and relationships from the last 2,000 years.
Great book documenting all the ways legal immigration occurs. It is way more than you probably think. There isn't too much talk of farm workers, and the authors really hammer into the assault on American STEM workers. It was too heavy on the fraud instances, otherwise 5 star from me. A little fun gift at the end talking about the 2016 presidential candidates and talking about Trump.
Very readable book on how American Founders came to their freedom and individual based foundation for a country. Heavy on religion, but people are religious.
Great book on how Critical Race Theory is rewriting over history. I know history is written by the victors, but are the current victors the racists now in command of discourse.
Great standard Stossel tract on a litany of government attempts at solving real world problems and screwing everything up worse.
Pretty technical book, but not as technical as a text book. You must have an advanced hobbyist knowledge of modern physics to appreciate and learn from the book. The most telling line was loosely: "You can never prove something true in science, but only prove claims false." I've been ruminating over this for days, it is so powerful considering our currently politicized science.
Good critique of modern political equality movement, now called equity, showing it is only possible with authoritarianism and won't have the desired outcome of the proponents. Lists many historical examples across geographic, political, and racial groups.
Sobering take of the continued domination and "enslavement" of the American Indian population. The US Government is not helping them and is keeping them under a boot because of Tribal Leadership.
Terrifying look at what was could like like in the next 15 years with China and the escalating geo-political conflicts that are coming.
First half of book was fascinating take on how money can make money. Liked the two scenarios of rich dad/poor dad and how they both think about money.
First half of book was interesting showing how much beer was valuable to the American settlers and how it was intertwined with politics that helped "lubricate" the American Revolution.

The second half was a who's who of brewers and various technological innovations.
Great book showing how the development of "modern" human practices drove evolution into our current Modern practices that we all love today. Several thought leaders today would label this book as white supremacy, but it covers global developments and is really thought inspiring. Highly recommend.
I really liked this novel because it pushed the idea that 100 year old people have lived a full life. We sometimes push our elderly into a "they are old" camp. But this 100 year old man's story was interlaced with his current hijinks with he did some really good stuff in his life. A little Forrest Gump echoes, and really enjoyed it.
A very thorough walkthrough of the malfeasance of the deep state and the attack on the rule of law by the political elite getting away with crimes. The writing was distracting because so much of the facts where interlaced with "Because of Judicial Watches FOIA request we learned". I would have preferred a straight lace of what happened rather than the continual back patting of the Judicial Watch legal fights.
Not quite the "evil blueprint for the totalitarian takeover of America" that many on the right say it is. It is full of logical steps of how to organize the have-nots against the haves. Noting for the haves to win, they must gain support of the have-some and the have-more middle class.
Very fun read given it was written in 2014. Many great insightful points about the changes coming to America to remake America into what is opposite of American Values. His interesting predictions about the type of leader we need knowing Trump was only a year away.
I found the first few chapters standard critical elitist, swamp talking points and they are important, but it is well played out, so nothing new here. Chapters 5, 6, and 7 are the parts of the book I shared with other people. More culture war arguments well expressed.
A look at what we must keep an eye on if Trump wins or loses. Good covering of the COVID pandemic and the response.
Fascinating book showing how the Scottish Enlightenment coming out of the unification of England and Scotland changed liberty, education, industry, architecture, literature in Scotland and around the world. The contributions of the Scottish diaspora from America to the modernization of India and Australia are often under valued.
Very thought provoking book about the balance and necessity of both individual freedom and collective authority.
Wow, I read this book before Warren was the front runner in politics. She articulated the two income trap brilliantly. I moved my family to single income family neighborhood. It is wrong the school system is based on property taxes.
Great inclusion of Khan's personal story bringing for the Khan Academy, the observed benefits and the projected future for free universal education without taxes.
If you are looking to lock in your position on the secession vs rebellion with a dash of slavery. It is more complex.
As good as all Plum adventures except with more Lula and a giraffe.
