I wonder why I don't enjoy his books...he is quite popular. Read half of this book...skimmed the rest
this was the usual "gothic" read...helped pass the time.
This was such an interesting book...I am fascinated with Pitcairn Island...would be interesting to stay there for a short time.
The book was about the rape cases on the island...older men, young girls. The case was mentioned in a Vanity Fair Magazine article
I am a huge fan of Jonathan Kellerman...this book was not too suspenseful, but held my interest.
I really liked the first half of the book...the second half not so much...learned about civil war in this country. the
tsunami which killed so many...not a place I really need to see.
Another excellent book in this series...this was a little convoluted, but I did enjoy it.
Excellent...human smuggling, tongs, seamy underworld. Some refuges pay a high price to come to this country!
so enjoyable...love time period, quirky characters, humor, and setting.
I have enjoyed all of the Margaret Campbell/ Li Yan mysteries...easily confused by the technical stuff in this one...but
still enjoyed it.
Very well done,...good character development...thought provoking...I have enjoyed most books by this author.
So very disappointing...love anything by or about Daphne du Maurier...I did not enjoy the writing style of this author.
However...love the setting on Cornwall!
Life is too short...did not finish this one...solution was too easy to figure out.
