This book relies does not emphasis the actual and literal meaning of the text enough too much what could it mean stuff. Although well done, it lacks serious consideration that what was written had definite meaning which cannot be changed with the winds of time.
Remi De Roo has some very serious theological errors about woman's ordination. Written when this was such suggestions have no place in serious theological discussions. Regardless there were some good observations about the council.
Oddly Aidan rather good arguments here were not enough for him to end up being a papal accuser of Heresy latter on in life. Hopefully he repents.

Gives me the creeps on the first page mentioning his spiritual father as if he did not know the guy was doing evil things, and how the gospel draws us into the mystery of Jesus. We all know what mystery mean for him. Seem hypocritocal for him to write about marriage given his life history. Hopefully he repented before death.

Pictures are helpful group together by colours. To get the 5th star ot would need a exhuastive selection of catipillar pictures instead of a selection. Range maps are pretty good.
Not sure how I feel about the view of what would seem to be archangles as rulers of planets but overall a splendid book! Lots for the mind to imagine and think about in a christian view of space life!!
Interesting to read, but most of these rocks will be hard to find in a natural state without some digging.

Good, but fails to capture some key points in deep focus such as repentance, sorrow for sins, and the need for final sacraments. It does a good job at showing why assisted murder (suicide) is wrong, but does not quiet connect the dots of the Cross = for our sins and we need forgiveness and to repent of those. The book also quotes from James Martin SJ, Raymond Brown and Cardinal Bernadine (the credibly accused Satanist rapist homo-predator, at least the book was published before such things came to light.) As can be expected there are a few theological errors expressed from the quotes of the above persons of ill-theological repute. At-least the errors are not on the topic of the assisted murder. Photos are great, location maps great, best Ontario guide for fish! Far outdoes the older guides on the subject.
The final chapters or second part on enemies, strengths and weaknesses are what I call a true "Art of War". The first part of book is a short history focusing on military endeavors. Although, the first part does help to understand the second and the reason for the Empires particular reasons for their military choices.
Not sure really how much actual content is in this book. There are several things mentioned but it could be much more systematic. I don't care for his habit of introducing his personal metaphysical beliefs into a grammar book. Honestly, he does have some good idea, I just feel that those idea could have used about 20 pages to write.
Perfect book to learn about gulls!
It has some merit, yet in some work places you just do what you got to to keep the business moving forward without much care for types and strengths. More for larger corporations.
It is a good book, but you after reading you probably are not going to feel confident enough to eat anything other than a few obviously non-poisonous ones.
