This book is officially a top-tier favorite for me. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because 5 just doesn’t feel like enough. Every single page brought something special — whether it was the characters, the humor, the heart, or the message behind the story.
I went into this not knowing exactly what to expect, and I ended up completely attached to these characters. The found family, the warmth, and the way this story reminds you that everyone deserves kindness and a place where they belong just hit differently.
The hardest part was reaching the end because I genuinely didn’t want to leave this world. I wanted more pages, more moments, and more time with these characters. This is one of those books that stays with you after you close the cover.

Okay… *The Knight and the Moth* was an interesting ride. I loved the gothic atmosphere, the cathedral setting, the Diviners, and the mystery surrounding Sybil’s visions. The world had a lot of potential, and I enjoyed discovering the secrets hiding beneath the surface.
Sybil was a strong character to follow. Watching her question what she knew, uncover the truth, and figure out who she could trust kept me interested throughout the story.
Rook was definitely the mysterious knight we all expect in a fantasy book. Because apparently fantasy men are not allowed to simply explain themselves. They must brood, keep secrets, and make us work for answers. 😂 The tension between him and Sybil was fun, even if I occasionally wanted to tell both of them, “Please just communicate!”
My biggest struggle was the pacing. It wasn’t bad, but if I wasn’t reading this with a group schedule, I think I might have slowed down in a few places. There were moments where I was completely invested and moments where I needed a little push to keep going.
Overall, *The Knight and the Moth* was a beautifully atmospheric fantasy with a great gothic feel, interesting characters, and a world I enjoyed exploring. It wasn’t a favorite, but I’m glad I read it.

First of all… can we talk about the size of this book? Because *Alchemised* did not arrive to be casually read. It showed up like it needed its own zip code. I’m pretty sure I got a workout just holding it. This book is a commitment.
Once I got past the “am I reading a book or lifting weights?” moment, I was pulled into a dark, complicated world filled with war, alchemy, secrets, and characters carrying enough emotional baggage to need their own luggage cart.
Helena Marino was a character I couldn’t help but root for. A healer and alchemist who wakes up after the war with missing pieces of her memory, she is trying to uncover what happened, what was taken from her, and who she can actually trust. And honestly… I was right there with her because my trust issues were working overtime.
The world of Paladia was fascinating, brutal, and full of secrets. Between the aftermath of the war, the Resistance, and the power struggles happening around Helena, it felt like everyone had an agenda. Because apparently, fantasy characters cannot just sit down and have a normal conversation. Everyone needs to be mysterious. Everyone needs therapy. 😂
Kaine Ferron, the High Reeve, was complicated and definitely kept me guessing. The tension between him and Helena had me thinking, “I don’t know if I should trust you or run away from you,” which, honestly, is exactly the kind of chaos I expect from a fantasy romance.
I loved the ambition, the show more world-building, and the emotional depth of this story. The only reason it wasn’t a 5-star read for me was the length. There were moments where I was completely invested and moments where I thought, “Okay… we could have gotten here a little faster.”
Overall, *Alchemised* was a dark, intense, and beautifully detailed fantasy read. It was a journey — a very large journey — but I’m glad I took it.

Well… apparently I have decided that my reading life needed more gods, curses, complicated family drama, and characters who make questionable decisions while I sit here yelling at the book, “No, no, that is absolutely not the choice we are making today.”
I really enjoyed being pulled into Naia’s world. She is a goddess who doesn’t feel powerful, doesn’t feel like she belongs, and is constantly being reminded that she isn’t enough. Watching her fight for herself, uncover the truth, and figure out who she can trust made me completely invested in her story.
The world-building gave me mythology vibes mixed with dark fantasy and romance, and I loved the tension between the gods, the secrets, and the feeling that everyone had their own agenda. Because obviously, when gods are involved, nothing is ever simple. There is always a catch. Always.
Ronin was such an interesting addition to Naia’s journey. Their relationship had that “I don’t know if I can trust you, but unfortunately I keep wanting to” energy that keeps me turning pages.
This book gave me magic, mythology, danger, romance, and characters who are beautifully messy. It was a fun ride, and I am definitely curious to see where this world goes next.

I went in expecting a gothic mystery, and instead I got a beautifully twisted little escape where I apparently packed my bags and moved into a haunted seaside manor. Clearly, my decision-making skills need to be questioned because I thought, “Yep, this seems like a totally reasonable place to live.”
The atmosphere in this book was everything. Hiraeth Manor, the crumbling estate by the sea, the secrets surrounding Emrys Myrddin, and the feeling that something was always just slightly off had me completely hooked. I felt like I was searching for clues right alongside Effy. And honestly, in a gothic book, can we really trust the furniture? Probably not.
Effy traveling to Hiraeth Manor after winning the architectural competition was such a great setup because she isn’t just stepping into a mysterious house — she’s entering a world connected to the author she has admired for years while also discovering that not everything is as it seems.
Then there is Preston. The man who shows up ready to challenge everything Effy believes about Emrys Myrddin and his legacy. I loved the back-and-forth between Effy and Preston. Watching them question each other, push each other’s buttons, and slowly begin to understand one another gave me exactly the kind of tension I love.
The mystery surrounding *Angharad*, Myrddin’s legacy, the strange events at the manor, and Effy’s own show more experiences kept me guessing. I was constantly wondering what was real, what was imagined, and who could actually be trusted. (Spoiler: my trust issues were working overtime.)
This book gave me dark academia, gothic atmosphere, folklore, mystery, and a slow-burn connection that kept me turning pages. It was haunting, beautifully written, and completely pulled me into its world.

I’m still reading *Ruthless Vows*, so this is not my final review yet…
I am enjoying it so far, but I’m still in that stage where I’m letting the story unfold before deciding exactly how I feel.
Rebecca Ross has such a beautiful writing style. There is a lot of emotion, atmosphere, and focus on the feelings between the characters. I can understand why readers connect so strongly with this series because the writing really pulls you into the world and the emotional side of the story.
Right now, I think I’m still figuring out what parts are going to stick with me. I’m enjoying the journey, but I’m not ready to say this is a favorite or where it will land for me yet.
I can see why some readers love this book for the emotional depth, the relationship between Iris and Roman, and the beautiful writing style. I can also understand why some readers struggle with the slower pacing and wanting more time with certain characters and parts of the story.
For me, I think I’m somewhere in the middle right now. I like it, but I’m waiting to see if it becomes something that really stays with me.
I’m going to finish the journey before I decide where this book belongs for me.

For me, the biggest issue was the pacing. The story felt slower than what I usually prefer, and at times I found myself waiting for things to move forward. That being said, this could honestly be partly on me. I was reading several books at the same time while I was sick, so I don't think I was giving this book the same level of focus I normally would.
I enjoyed the story, but it did not stand out enough on this first read for me to give it a higher rating. Because of that, I am marking this as a 3-star read for now.
I do think this is a book I would like to revisit later. A reread when I can give it my full attention may change my feelings, and I would like to come back and do a more detailed review with my normal breakdown of characters, favorite moments, and quotes.
For now, this was a good read that just did not fully capture me — but I am not closing the door on it. Sometimes books hit differently when the timing is right.

I went into *Bonds of Hercules* knowing this was a little outside my normal reading comfort zone, but still within my love of fantasy/paranormal stories. I also knew going in that this felt different from Jasmine Mas’s other books, and I think that was the biggest thing I noticed. The writing style and storytelling felt different from what I was used to from her, and while I still enjoyed the story, it did not hit me the same way as some of her other work.

The relationships were probably my favorite part of this book. They were messy, complicated, and sometimes frustrating, but honestly, that made them feel more real. I appreciated that the characters had to actually learn each other instead of instantly becoming a perfect match. Trust, understanding, and figuring each other out takes time. Even magical bonds do not replace the work it takes to build a relationship.
Kharon was one of my favorite parts of this book. His sarcasm and chaotic energy made me laugh because he reminded me of certain people who can create chaos even while standing completely still. 😂
I also absolutely loved Hades and Persephone. Seeing them show more in a parental role with Alexis was one of my favorite surprises. I honestly would have loved more of them because that found-family feeling was one of the strongest parts of the story for me.
The romance was enjoyable, but it was not the only thing that kept me invested. The humor, the character dynamics, the mythology, and the possibilities of this world were what kept me turning the pages.
I can completely understand why this book will not work for every reader. It is different, and I think some readers may struggle with the storytelling style or the darker elements. But I also know there are readers who are going to absolutely love this story.

I went into *Bonds of Hercules* knowing this was a little outside my normal reading comfort zone, but still within my love of fantasy/paranormal stories. I also knew going in that this felt different from Jasmine Mas’s other books, and I think that was the biggest thing I noticed. The writing style and storytelling felt different from what I was used to from her, and while I still enjoyed the story, it did not hit me the same way as some of her other work.

I can definitely see why this series has such a huge following. Prythian was my favorite part of the book. Every new court, creature, and piece of history made me want to know what was around the next corner. Feyre was easy to root for because her determination and willingness to sacrifice for the people she loves never wavered, even when she was afraid. Lucien completely stole the show for me—his sarcastic humor balanced the darker moments, and his loyalty made him one of the most genuine characters in the book. While Tamlin was caring and protective, I never felt the emotional chemistry between him and Feyre was developed enough for me to become fully invested in their relationship.
The second half of the story is where everything came together. The rising stakes kept me turning the pages, Amarantha was a villain I genuinely loved to hate because her cruelty made every challenge feel impossible, and Rhysand's limited page time somehow left the biggest impression. Every scene with him raised more questions than answers, making him the character I was most excited to learn more about. Although the beginning took a little while to build momentum, it laid the groundwork for an ending that left me excited to continue the series.

A Conjuring of Light was a strong and emotional ending to the Shades of Magic trilogy. The biggest highlight for me was the characters, especially Holland, whose story became far more heartbreaking and memorable than I expected. Kell, Lila, Rhy, and Alucard all had moments that reminded me why I became invested in this series in the first place. V. E. Schwab's world-building is still incredible, and the emotional stakes were just as compelling as the magical ones. My only complaint is that the middle of the book felt slower than I wanted, and some of the battle sequences dragged a bit. Even so, the ending delivered the emotional payoff I was hoping for and gave these characters a satisfying conclusion. It may not have been a perfect finale, but it was one I'll remember long after I finished the last page.

I absolutely loved this book! Dragons, witches, magic, found family...it had everything I look for in a fantasy. Georgie was such an easy character to cheer for, and I loved watching her finally realize just how strong she really was. Azrael completely stole my heart. He's protective, loyal, and just an all-around wonderful book boyfriend. The romance felt natural, the dragon lore was fascinating, and I never wanted to leave the world Hazel Beck created. I do wish the ending had slowed down just a little because I wasn't ready to say goodbye, but it still wrapped everything up in a way that left me smiling. If you love dragons, magic, and characters that feel like friends by the end of the story, I definitely recommend picking this one up!

If it would have been formatted into a story format and not a diary than I would prob change my rating for this book. In my opinion it should not have been written in the format that the author used.

I have nothing but love for this series. Each book within the series brought us new characters to love and laugh with. I suggest reading this series..... You will fall in love with each book.

This book follows the path way of the first two books of "Warriors of Hades" series. I can't say enough about this book. If you loved the first two books in the series than this should be the book for you to get right now. Come on you know you want to. Come on... go get it and read the rest of the review. It is that good where you won't need to finish this book.

She doesn't know anything different but she knows that she deserves more and wants it. She holds this close to her heart and refuses to allow anyone to destroy her dreams. The one thing she can call her own.
The three brothers walk in and you meet Viktor, Fillip and Savastian. The reader is given a bit of background on why they are looking for a female. They are there to see how MeKenna is treated and they act on it. But the best part is that they realize before this abuse that she is their destined mate.
The book gives you information and gives you enough to form movie in your imagination and it flows. I felt like I was there watching it on t.v. or a fly on the wall show more watching this happen in front of me. To many times authors give so much background information and than speed through the story line. This is a mistake...it should be the other way around and this is what Jenika gives to her readers.
This book will be on the top of my recommend list for a very long time. I give it 5 stars because the author continuing the style of the series, giving the right amount of supporting information to allow more time within the story line, the HEA and of course a sizzling hot cover. show less

I felt like
I was trying to read a manual for positive attitude for the work place. I couldn't get through it without something around me grabbing my attention..... it almost felt like the two main characters had sunshine shooting out of their backend..... sorry I refuse to recommend this one..... it started out looking like a good one but.....nope it fell short.

This book is awesome. I cried, laughed and smiled through out the story. I am not going to go into details but this is a book you should read.....

That it was okay. It seemed to have holes/missing parts in the story. I found a lot of editing mistakes that should not have been missed. A half way decent editor would have found them. I am glad this a freebie .... would have asked for a refund. I could see the storyline being better if the author had help.

This was a total disappointment. It was awful. Half the time I was having to reread to figure out what was going on in the book. It felt like there were parts missing from the story line. Additionally, the writing fell flat. The voice in my head sounded like a robot talking.
