I really enjoyed this book. I have alwasy thought of fireflies as magical, and Chess Desalls just confirmed it in this book. The story was very heartwarming. And, taught a valuable lesson: you never know what burdens people are enduring.
My only complaint was how short the book was. I felt like there was plenty of room for more content, and character development. But, it also was nice to be able to finish it during my commute. Since reading this, I'm looking forward to other works by this author.
