This is a brilliantly written book! The truth about teen modeling, it's not all rainbows and sunshine. I loved this book and read it in less than two days. I understood the references and felt as though the character could be a real person. Wonderful, and I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read a book that's realistic.

I read this book not knowing what to think beforehand. I really did enjoy it. If you've ever read Nancy Drew you'll probably like this book. Trixie is like Nancy, but without the uncanny ability to do everything and anything. This was really fun and a quick read and pretty entertaining. It was written in the 40s, so it's interesting to realize how different things were back then. It's part of a series, so there are more books after this if you like it.

I loved it! While it was a great conclusion to the Violet trio, I hope there's more in store for Violet.

This was a cute book. I enjoyed reading it. It went pretty fast because the books in this series are very short. If you've seen the movie, all 5 of these books all together make up the plotline. Agreeing with another review I read, these books could have been combined to make one book, because they're continuous. However, they're worth reading either way.

This went pretty fast as a read, and I did enjoy it. However, having watched the tv show previously I had certain expectations that were not necessarily met. There were certain aspects of the writing that could have been better, but overall it was good.

Having loved the mini-series and the movie, I had never read this book. It's long and very detailed but I enjoyed the different points of view of each of the characters. This is one of the only books that's ever thoroughly creeped me out. I really enjoyed it.

While Bella's naivety continues to grow, I still can't stop reading these books. The story is so continuous that you just have to read what's next. I liked this one a little better then New Moon, but still not as much as Twilight.

Okay, so this one was a lot harder to get through than the others. The premise was slightly nauseating, but getting through that to the familial relationships brought back my interest. I loves the way the book ended once I finally got through it!

Well, this book was a little hard for me to get through. Having seen the movie, my expectations got in the way of my reading. But after finally getting into it, I actually did enjoy it. There were certain aspects that I could have done without, but it was a good book.

I loved this book! As soon as I finished the Violet series, I wanted more and waited patiently for this one. As soon as I started reading it, I couldn't stop! It was a great story with great characters.

This was definitely a fun, quick read. I should have read the first one closer to this, but even as a standalone it was great!

3. The detail involved in describing the woods was impressive.
4. The plot was unique.
5. It was often hard to predict what would happen.
6. There were a lot of relateable feeling in this book. Reading it
brought out a lot of emotions.
7. Shiver was very easy to read. Being really busy, I still managed to
read it in a reasonable amount of time.
8. I enjoyed the format. Going from Grace's point of view to Sam's point
of view made the story fun to read.
9. Keeping the number of characters to a minimum is a great way to help
the reader connect with the main characters.
10. It was a wonderful relationship. Seeing it develop and grow was
amazing.

One thing I would like to change: I'm still trying to figure out why the Rachel character existed. She was in the story a very limited amount and it didn't seem to be a very important role.

I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook (narrated by the author) and reading along. It was a really great behind the scenes to the beginnings of Carrie's life as well as the development of her band and everything that went along with it.

I cannot recommend this book enough! Such an amazing life with so many stories to share!
