I read either an interview or a review probably about 5 years ago in Vice Magazine. It was about a non-fiction graphic novel to do with a shady character (possibly a mercenary? smuggler?) the author met in Eastern Europe and had numerous conversations with. As I recall, it was set in a war-zone, so probably the Balkans. Anyway, the book was about the stories that this man told him. I'm sorry this is not particularly descriptive, but there can't be many books out there like this!
