Well, I read the most books ever in one year.Actually from June 23rd to November 21st I read 55 books.Then on the 22nd I broke my right ankle and my quest for 60 ended.This year I'm hoping to read sixty books by July 4th.The ultimate quest for 75 would have to include several LT members willing to sell me some of their books.Ebay just does not have the inventory that I need...

Good for you! Have you looked for your titles on Amazon? You can get some good deals on used books there.

Currently I'm searching for the Parker novels by Richard Stark on Mysterious Press.These would be with the matchbook cover dust jackets.

Finished number 75 (Henning Mankell) and just passed 101.

I reached 76 books yesterday. WooHoo! The last one was Domestic Violets. Now I'm shooting for over 100 by the end of the year and I'm pretty sure I'll make it.

I finished #75 last month (the remarkable Kings of the Earth by Jon Clinch), and am currently reading #78 and #79 (one fiction, one non-fiction).

I made it to 75 books last night! I almost forgot about this thread. This is my first year in this group and I honestly wasn't sure if I would reach 75. I love this group and I will be doing the challenge again in 2012.

Apparently I hit my 75th book back in July. I started here very late, and I haven't brought my count up to date yet, but I should be well over 100 for the year. I'm wondering if I can get it to 150.

At the beginning of the year I wasn't sure if I would even reach 75 books. I just counted, and with two days left in the year, I've read 127 books. I'm going to try for 130 by the year's end. I'm flying across the country on Saturday (with a 4 hour layover to boot) and I suspect I'll have ample time to do it. Very happy!

I finished reading #75 yesterday, waited to write a review before adding it to my thread today.
