I agree, can you please add amazon.it to sources in the add book page?

This would be very helpful. I've had to add a lot of my Italian books manually, and even though Amazon data is often crappy, it would be good to have access to this slice of their database.

Unfortunately, no. Amazon only allows API access to Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, and Amazon.co.jp.

So go bug Amazon about it...they do listen to feedback, at least on item pages, and might pay attention to a bunch of requests for API access to other Amazon sites (there are more, besides .it, that aren't accessible).

Heh.
People have been bugging them about it for more than a year.

Amazon ultimately reacts, though. After pestering them for five years, Amazon.co.uk finally followed the other Amazons in including Austria among its marketplace countries this spring. Amazon.com only took one year to do so some years back, after having confirmed that Austria and Australia are indeed two separate countries ...

Does Amazon India (amazon.in) still not "exposing their APIs" or is it already implemented? I am still not able to see Amazon India in the list.

No! They're open now. (India and Italy and, maybe, some others.)
We're getting them up on the list. We need to run through their data, translating things like "Formato Kindle" and "Copertina flessibile."
