Adding Details of Longer Events

Sorry if this subject has been covered before, but I have been adding event details for my library into Librarything and have hit a problem.

Two of the events I have put in are exhibitions which are on for several weeks, but the events details seem to be set up for one-off things such as author appearences.

Is there a way of keeping details up for longer periods?

My best advice for exhibitions is to put the event in for the closing date, not the opening date. That way the event stays up until it's over. Just make sure to put the full range of dates in the title so people know it's an ongoing event. I've done this for several museum exhibitions and it's worked just fine so far.
