I've not followed it. And that link doesn't encourage me to do so. They're being, at best, misleading. Author's don't lose royalties. They may possibly gain less royalty than they would in another senario. This is in no circumstances a loss, and in truth impossible to predict. b) it's all pie-in-the-sky speculation anyway, as there is no/very little indication that publishers are pushing or supporting ebooks at all. Publishers seem to be one of the main hinderances to wider uptake of ebooks.

They lost percentage of royalties to publishers . as previous article made clear, though I am surprised you did not gather from this one.As to Publishers hindering up take of the ebooks, I suspect cutting the authors royalty percentage would have that effect. It is rather why I posted this.
