I'm looking forward to finishing Ayala's Angel, which I put on hold 6 months ago. Hopefully I will then tackle either The Prime Minister, The American Senator or Mr Scarborough's Family. So many choices!

I'm hoping to (as a fairly long-term goal) read the whole Chronicles of Barsetshire series. I'm up to book 2 (I *did* say long-term!), so would be happy if I read it, Barchester Towers, this month.
And I do also have The Way We Live Now on Mt TBR, which I'd also like to read.
I probably won't get to both!

The Chronicles of Barsetshire are among my favourite Trollope but I have read them already. And I'm struggling with The Pallisers series so am trying some of the lesser known, stand-alone novels from my TBR.
Looking forward to hearing what you make of Barchester Towers :)

I've never read anything by Trollope before, but I've heard good things about The Chronicles of Barsetshire, so I'm going to read The Warden.

I have been way too busy this year and things are only going to get worse! But I really want to participate in this month’s author read. I haven’t read anything by Anthony Trollope. Got two of Trollope’s Chronicles of Barsetshire books, Framley Parsonage and Barchester Towers, on my TBR list. I so want to read these two! Wish me luck!

I have An Eye for an Eye in paper format so might as well read it :)

I've got The Warden in my immediate TBR pile, but I've got three high priority books on top of it still, so I'm afraid that by the time I manage to crack it open, this month will be over.
But then again, this thread has also been fairly quiet. Has anybody started reading a book by Anthony Trollope this month?

I've got a category in my 11 in 11 challenge for Trollope - I'm aiming to read his Barsetshire series. I've just finished Framley Parsonage which is number four so only two more books to go. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series, Trollope is funny, insightful with a great range of characters that I love to hate (Mrs Proudie, Obadiah Slope).

Hmmm, no one mentioned Phineas Finn, an excellent book.

I didn't make it to any Trollope books in April. But we don't seem to have voted for a May (and June) author(s) as yet, so maybe we should just extend Trollope for another month...? It'd keep me happy. :)
