Hey folks! I'm just a youngster studying geology @ uni., and I've been reading lots of geography/geology/etc. books lately, mostly your standard suggestions, but I'm looking now for books meant for that specialized, familiar audience mentioned in the rock club thread w/ the Nature of the Stratigraphical Record. Stuff on or at least near graduate level, is what I'm looking for.

Thanks all!

Ricky: You might like Fluid Inclusions, by Edwin Roedder (Mineralogical Soc. of America, Reviews in Mineralogy, vol 12 - 1984). Clearly written, and those rock fluids influence important things like ore deposits, finding hydrocarbons, perhaps even earthquakes.
