I have the Willowmere trilogy by Alison Baird in Dutch, but those editions are full of typos (especially book 1) and the translation is not very good... Still I re-read them, but those little things are starting to bug me more and more. Because of this, I'd like to get the English versions.
Does anyone happen to have them and is willing to part with them?

OK, I ended up angeling three books from the same person for another LT/BMer, but it was over almost a week. They are going out tomorrow & I feel like asking her to let me know when she is posting books!
Then I remembered!!!
You can RSS feed BM inventories!!
I've got Google Reader & this is how I do it.
On the left column there is a button that says "ADD A SUBSCRIPTION"
When you click it a URL box comes up.
enter:
http://bookmooch.com/rss/inventory/en/USERNAME/
with the CORRECT username of the person whose inventory you wish to "stalk"
click the "ADD" button & you are set!!
Go into "manage subscriptions" if you want to change the title of the feed. I call them all "BM Inventory: LTer(Greenland)" but with a name that I know them as.
THEN I put all of my BM inventory feeds into one folder called.... ta-ta!! "BM INVENTORIES!!"
Creative, right?? . . . . . yeah....
Hope this helps everyone!!

There's a new member from Canada who has some Terry Prachett books, among others. Account is set to "only within country" (or whatever!) but I'll happily angel if someone wants something.

I am looking for books by Patricia Cornwell and Robin Cook for a friend. I know there's lots of copies of their books online, but I figured I would ask my friends on here first. She has a preference for mmpb's in good condition. If you have anything, let me know and I'll mooch from you first.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi Mare,
I've listed the one I've found but I know Aunt Jen has the entire series somewhere. They are all mass market paperbacks and I'll bet they were purchased new. How much time do I have to find them?

Oh wow Elizabeth, I didn't think it would be that easy! :) Take your time, I told my friend not to expect anything for a while as I figured that I would be mooching from plenty of different people. Thank you! (and I'm going to check out your wishlist right away!) Thanks!

Great! I'll do some digging and see what else I can find... I'll send you notifications from Aunt Jen's account and if you already have it, don't worry about it.

Has anyone seen these two Scholastic paperback books in their secondhand shops?
Voices in the Night - Rhoda W. Bacmeister
Mystery of the Secret Stowaway - Joan Lowery Nixon
I just had my mooches of these rejected, and would like to read them... Thank you. I do not mind international mooches; do that all the time.

This is a request of the UK BMers: If you are at a thrift store or a book sale & see a book on Southwell Cathedral that is really cheap, PLEASE GRAB IT FOR ME!!! I was there & could not afford the guide or any books from there. But I did go & I loved it!!!

I'm looking for a copy of Wit'ch Star by James Clemens. If anyone has a copy that they wouldn't mind sending to Canada, I'd love to mooch it.

My 9 year old daughter has recently discovered manga, and she has been devouring it. The local libraries can't seem to keep up with her. My problem is I don't really know what to search for on Bookmooch. If anyone has any manga in their inventory that would perhaps be appropriate for her age, please let me know.
I don't know enough about it to be much help, but so far she's loving Majoko, Happy Happy Clover, and Amulet: The Stonekeeper (not sure if that one's technically manga). She says she prefers the ones with the "great big heads and itty bitty bodies".
Thanks!

I'm actually heading to the Japanese used bookstore this weekend and they have cheap manga in English there. If she has learned of some specific titles that she might have seen that she wants to try then I can look them. I am not up-to-date with what's hot in manga right now, especially for the under-12 set, but I have a few titles in mind from a few years ago that are cute that I can pick up if I see them.

I've looked at a few online that I think she'd enjoy like Hollow Fields (this one especially looks like the ones she's been enjoying so much), The Palette of 12 Secret Colors, and maybe Panda Man to the Rescue, but I'm sure there's much more out there that would be a good fit. Thanks so much!

Touch the Moon definitely looks like the sort of book I would have picked up if I had come across it! :) Oooh, the hardcover illustration is gorgeous, but I'd be happy with the Dell paperback too!

I'm looking for one more to complete the series: The Amazing Mrs. Pollifax .

#25 - I can do you a copy of Bluebeard's Egg by Attwood if that helps ??
30MyriadBooks
@29 | I greatly appreciate the offer, but my friend is particularly interested in dystopian works and I thought those two titles would be great for her. The only Atwood book she's read so far, and years ago, was The Handmaid's Tale.

I'm looking for Shadow Magic and Dragon Soul by Jaida Jones. I won the 4th in the series on Early Reviewers and I hate not to read things in order (even if supposedly they are not directly sequential)

My little sister is looking for Mind of my Mind by Octavia E Butler. She works at a library and I guess they have a bunch of other books in the series but not this one.

US BookMoochers: does anyone have any extra used envelopes I can mooch?
Every single entry for envelopes on BookMooch is international (and most of those are "only my country" anyways!). I'd rather not spend 3 points for envelopes...

#33 - Heather, a few weeks ago my husband had the bright idea of putting a request out on Freecycle for used padded envelopes, and we got swamped - I don't know whether you are on Freecycle, but it's worth a try!
(PS: My husband then used one of the envelopes to send some books to Japan - the moocher acknowledged receipt, but asked Ralph whether he had intended to include an envelope containing £40! We established that the money, of course, had been left in the envelope by the person who had donated the envelopes to us, so with a bit of detective work we identified her, the moocher sent the cash back to Ralph and we gave it back to the (very surprised and grateful) lady!)

(oh wow! That's definitely a surprise.... and what a wonderful gesture to send the money back. It's nice to hear about those sort of things nowadays)
Freecycle, I'd never thought of that!

Wow, that's wonderful to hear of such honesty. I found some money someone had dropped in the PO the other day, and put it on the counter for the clerk to do whatever with, though it was likely a customer dropped it, even though it was only 5 cents.

This is a long shot, but it's worth a try. I need the following books for a class - in fact, I'd take two of each of them because both daughters are taking the same class and I see tussles over books in the future.
Any edition/Any condition/need fast shipping but willing to smooch like crazy.
The Omnivore's Dilemma
Half the Sky Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide
Complications: A Surgeon's Notes on an Imperfect Science (mooched one on PBS)
CliffsAP English Language and Composition (was able to mooch 1 of these, now to see if it actually comes!)

I have an odd request.
I am looking for a 1940 Episcopal Hymnal.
If you have one & no longer want it, it would find a wonderful home with me.
I am also looking for any of the 'new' Anglican Common Worship prayer books or supplements that need a good home.
I would be able to "mooch" or request from either BM or PBS at your choice.
Thanks.
