ROFL!!! Wish I'd owned that book when my daughter was small.

Something every parent can relate to, no?

Hee hee...
Oh, I am going to a baby shower next weekend. The invite says to "bring a book for baby's library."

I think they picked the perfect reader for the book.

James Earl Jones would have been good, too.

I would listen to James Earl Jones read the phone book.

While I agree James Earl Jones has an excellent reading voice, I just think the personality behind the reading of this book lends quit a bit. I've seen him in movies where his character could have easily been reading that book to his kid like The Long Kiss Goodnight...

One of my favorite movie scenes of all time is in The Long Kiss Goodnight, where Jackson's character is flat on his back in the street, and takes out a cigarette to smoke.

Mine is when he can't remember the kid's name and says 'What's her name, Cathead?'

Outstanding - what a lovely rendition! Thanks, readafew.

I tried to go see that yesterday but youtube wants me to sign in first. Ever since I was stupid enough to sign up for facebook, I balk at signing up for anything online. Seriously.

I'm sure it's fabulous, tho!

You can get the 6 minute audiobook free on Audible too!

Most sites aren't as insidious as facebook, but I don't blame you, littlegeek.

(edited to fix a typo that reversed the meaning of the sentence!)

You can still find a version on YouTube if you look around. I'm on my phone at the moment, but I'll look for it later if someone else hasn't posted a new link.

It's awesome. I'm sending it to all the parents I know.

The fact that this is a real book makes me ROFLMAO. I couldn't imagine anyone but Samuel L Jackson doing the audiobook either.

I will get the audiobook! Thanks! (I almost never go to audible anymore, out of the habit.)

I love this! I forwarded the link to several friends with small children. :)

The link has been deactivated (or whatever the term would be...) because Audible, Inc. asserted their copyright ownership.

You can still get it from Audible for free, but you apparently need to have an account on Amazon. They're joined at the hip and ankle, it seems. Change your password on one site, and it changes on the other as well.
